Hi there! My name is Erin Powell. I am a PhD candidate at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. I am a behavioural and evolutionary ecologist with a focus on arthropod systems. I’m passionate about scientific communication, education, and outreach. I enjoy fieldwork and macrophotography of the arthropods I encounter.

Glowworms sparkle as I hunt for arachnids along the wall of this natural bridge in Waitomo, NZ.
